Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo (1), por ejemplo un tapón de purga de gas, para inyectar gas en un recipiente metalúrgico que comprende (a) un cuerpo (2) que se extiende a lo largo de un eje central (X1) que comprende, (b) al menos un canal de flujo de gas (3) que conecta de modo fluido una entrada de gas (3a) situada en un extremo de dicho cuerpo a una salida de gas (3b), situada en el extremo opuesto a lo largo de dicho eje, estando dicho canal (3) en forma de una hendidura definida por una primera y segunda superficies opuestas. El dispositivo (1) según la invención está caracterizado por que, (c) el al menos un canal de gas (3) comprende una serie de puentes cóncavos continuos (4) que conectan la primera y segunda superficies opuestas que definen el canal, con su lado cóncavo (4a) orientado hacia la salida de gas (3b), en que dichos puentes cóncavos (4) están dispuestos de forma escalonada, de forma que cualquier primera línea más corta que vaya desde la salida de gas (3b) a la entrada de gas (3a) del canal necesariamente intercepta el lado cóncavo (4a) de al menos un primer puente (41) . El dispositivo (1) según la invención permite evitar la obstrucción del dispositivo por medio de metal fundido o escoria infiltrada.
