Abstract
Se proporciona un método para separar el agua producto de la reacción y recuperar un ácido carboxílico usado como un solvente en un reactor de una descarga del reactor durante la oxidación de un compuesto aromático, y más particularmente, un método para separar el agua producto de la reacción y recuperar un ácido carboxílico utilizado como un solvente en un reactor de una descarga del reactor durante la oxidación de un compuesto aromático, en el que durante la oxidación del compuesto aromático, la descarga del reactor es conducida hacia dos o más torres de deshidratación que tienen diferentes presiones de operación, de tal manera que un condensador de una torre de deshidratación funciona como un intercambiador de calor de otra torre de deshidratación, lo que reduce notablemente el consumo de energía.
