Abstract

La presente descripción se relaciona con métodos para evaluación de carcinoma de células renales (RCC) . Estos métodos incluyen un método de determinación de un diagnóstico de las personas que tienen o que no tienen RCC; determinación de un pronóstico de un curso futuro de RCC; determinación de la carga de enfermedad; o determinación de recurrencia de RCC en un individuo quien aparentemente ha sido curado de RCC. Cada uno de los métodos involucran la detección del valor de por lo menos un biomarcador de la tabla 1. El valor del biomarcador se utiliza, en algunos de los métodos, para determinar si el individuo presenta o no evidencias de la enfermedad, y en otro método, se determina el grado o una clasificación indicativa del grado de enfermedad en un individuo.
