Abstract

Una embarcación de tendido de tuberías para tender una tubería en el lecho marino, cuya embarcación de tendido de tuberías comprende un casco, un dispositivo de posicionamiento para posicionar una sección de tubería en una línea de mira a lo largo de la que se tiende la tubería, cuyo dispositivo de posicionamiento está soportado por el casco, y una pinza para sujetar la tubería está suspendida desde la embarcación, en donde la pinza está ubicada en la línea de mira, y comprende un dispositivo de soporte diseñado y dispuesto para permitir que la pinza sostenga una tubería de un primer modo en donde la pinza tiene una posición fija en relación con el dispositivo de posicionamiento, y de un segundo modo en donde la pinza se puede articular en relación con el dispositivo de posicionamiento.
