Abstract

Un método para proporcionar un perfil reológico substancialmente constante de un fluido de perforación a base de aceite sobre un intervalo de temperatura de aproximadamente 120°F (48.8°C) (48.8°C) a aproximadamente 400°F (204.4°C). El método comprende agregar un aditivo de fluido de perforación al fluido de perforación, en donde el aditivo de fluido de perforación consiste esencialmente de una poliamida y un grupo de por lo menos una o más unidades de mono-carboxilo. La poliamida tiene (a) unidades repetidas de (i) una unidad de policarboxilo con por lo menos dos porciones carboxíticas; y (ii) una unidad de poliamina que tiene una funcionalidad amina de dos o más y la una o más unidades monocarboxilo que se colocan en la poliamida en una posición seleccionada del grupo que consiste de: una posición de extremo, una posición colgante y combinaciones de las mismas.
