Abstract

La presente tecnología se relaciona con un dispositivo de procesamiento de imágenes y un método de procesamiento de imágenes que, en caso de que se transmita una imagen de profundidad que tiene una resolución reducida, permite el rendimiento preciso del procesamiento de deformación de la imagen de profundidad en el lado de recepción. Una unidad de generación de imágenes de paralaje reduce la resolución de imágenes de paralaje (B1´ y C1´). Una unidad de generación de información de límite genera información de límite de las imágenes de paralaje (B1´ y C1´). Una unidad de multiplexión transmite una corriente multiplexada que contiene la información de límite y las imágenes de paralaje (B1´ y C1´) de resolución reducida. La presente tecnología, por ejemplo, puede aplicarse a un dispositivo de codificación que codifica una imagen 3D sin gafas.
