Abstract

Un método para posicionar imágenes primarias y secundarias en un dispositivo de visualización estereoscópica que involucra constatar una profundidad percibida de la imagen primaria y la imagen secundaria; transformar la profundidad percibida de al menos uno de los datos de imágenes primarias y secundarias comprimiendo la profundidad percibida de al menos uno de los datos de imágenes primarias y secundarias; y transformar al menos uno de los datos de imágenes primarias y secundarias para posicionar la imagen secundaria percibida en una posición que será percibida por un televidente por estar situada a una profundidad cuando es vista en la pantalla estereoscópica de tal manera que la imagen secundaria parezca estar situada completamente entre la imagen primaria y el televidente cuando es vista estereoscópicamente. Este resumen no se considera limitativo, puesto que otras modalidades pueden desviarse de los aspectos descritos en este resumen.
