Abstract

Se proporciona un método para inducir la colocación de un agente sustentante heterogéneo en una fractura hidráulica de una formación subterránea ocasionando la agregación del agente sustentante a través de una transición en fase de gel o transformación química en el fluido portador del agente sustentante. La agregación del agente sustentante puede ser inducida provocando o permitiendo la sinéresis del gel polimérico que viscosifica el fluido. La formación de un complejo polielectrolítico de polímeros catiónicos y aniónicos contenido en o creado en el fluido; y la elevación de la temperatura del fluido por encima de la temperatura de la solución crítica de un polímero contenido en el fluido. El fluido portador del agente sustentante puede ser formulado para que estas transformaciones sucedan en forma natural durante o después de la inyección del sustentante, y las transformaciones se pueden activar o retardar por métodos químicos.
