Abstract

Se proporciona un método para la colocación de un agente sustentante heterogéneo durante la fracturación mediante la agregación in situ de partículas de malla fina del agente sustentante u otros materiales, como fibras, en una fractura subterránea. Se inyecta un polímero en una formación subterránea y posteriormente se somete a una reacción química, por ejemplo, a hidrólisis en las condiciones del fondo del agujero, la cual da origen a la formación de un polielectrolito catiónico o aniónico. De otro modo, el polielectrolito se sintetiza en el fondo del agujero, p. ej., mediante una reacción de degradación de Hoffmann o una reacción de Mannich. El polielectrolito actúa como un floculante y permite la agregación de las partículas sólidas como puede ser arena, mica, harina de sílice, cerámicos o similares, lo cual permite la formación de micropilares del sustentante profundos en la fractura. También se proporcionan los métodos de agregación de fibras para mejorar la formación de puentes, y otras aplicaciones de floculación controlada.
