Abstract
La invención desvela enzimas celulasa con propiedades optimizadas para procesamiento de sustratos que contienen celulosa y lignocelulosa. En particular, se desvelan enzimas celobiohidrolasa con características preferidas. La presente invención proporciona variantes de fusión, inserción, deleción y/o sustitución de tales enzimas. Las variantes enzimáticas tienen termoestabilidad, estabilidad proteolítica, actividad específica y/o estabilidad potenciadas a pH extremo. Se desvelan moléculas de ácido nucleico que codifican dichas enzimas, una composición que comprende dichas enzimas, un procedimiento para preparación y el uso para procesamiento de celulosa y/o para la producción de biocarburantes.
