Abstract
Se provee un proceso para preparar voriconazol representado por la fórmula química 1. Más en particular, el proceso para preparar voriconazol de la fórmula química 1 incluye: llevar a cabo la reacción de acoplamiento del tipo Reformatsky entre un derivado de cetona de la fórmula química 4 y un derivado de pirimidina de la fórmula química 5, para obtener un compuesto de la fórmula química 3; hacer reaccionar los sustituyentes halógeno y oxisulfonilo con un donador de hidrógeno para obtener voriconazol racémico de la fórmula química 2; y llevar a cabo el aislamiento óptico del voriconazol racémico, añadiéndole un ácido ópticamente activo adecuado para obtener voriconazol que tiene elevada pureza óptica, con alta relación de costo-eficiencia y gran rendimiento.
