Abstract
La presente descripción proporciona una composición pirorretardante, sin halógeno, flexible. La composición incluye desde aproximadamente 25% ps hasta aproximadamente 95% ps de un poliuretano termoplástico (TPU, por sus siglas en inglés); desde aproximadamente 5% ps hasta aproximadamente 50% ps de un copolímero de bloque olefínico (OBC, por sus siglas en inglés); y desde aproximadamente 30% ps hasta aproximadamente 70% ps de un pirorretardante. El pirorretardante se selecciona a partir de resorcinol bis (difenil 5 fosfato) (RDP, por sus siglas en inglés), bis difenil fosfato (BDP, por sus siglas en inglés), bisfenol A bis (difenil fosfato) (BPDAP, por sus siglas en inglés), trihidrato de aluminio (ATH, por sus siglas en inglés), un pirorretardante sin halógeno a base de nitrógeno/fósforo, resma de novolaca epoxidada, y combinaciones de los mismos. La composición no requiere compatibilizador para el TPU y el OBC. La composición tiene aplicaciones en estructuras de alambres y cables.
