Abstract

Método para mejorar rasgos relacionados con el rendimiento en plantas mediante la modulación de la expresión en una planta de un ácido nucleico que codifica un polipéptido tipo FSMI (Fruto Sant/Myb), o un polipéptido tipo PIF3 (FACTOR TRES DE INTERACCIÓN CON FITOCROMO), o un polipéptido Uroporfirinógeno III descarboxilasa (UROD), o un polipéptido AS-MTT (factor de transcripción ligado a membrana de estrés abiótico), o un polipéptido EXO-1, o un polipéptido YiAP2 (Apetala 2 que aumenta el rendimiento). También plantas que tienen expresión modulada de un ácido nucleico que codifica un polipéptido tipo FSM1, en donde dichas plantas tienen mejores rasgos relacionados con el rendimiento en relación con las correspondientes plantas de tipo silvestre u otras plantas de control. Además constructos útiles en los métodos de la invención.
