Abstract

Un sistema y un método para rastrear un vehículo incluyen un dispositivo móvil de rastreo que recibe datos de GPS. El dispositivo móvil de rastreo transmite los datos de ubicación a un sistema de rastreo cuando este detecta ciertos eventos basados en datos tales como que el vehículo hace un paro, reinicia el movimiento, cambia su dirección, o excede un límite de velocidad.
