Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para producir de manera continua aldehídos C10 a, ß-insaturados a partir de aldehídos C5 alifáticos, que comprende las siguientes etapas: la condensación de aldol de aldehídos C5 alifáticos en aldehídos C10 a,ß-insaturados en presencia de una base acuosa en un reactor de tubo; la separación de fases del producto del reactor de tubo en una fase acuosa del catalizador y una fase orgánica del producto; la separación de la fase orgánica del producto en aldehídos C10 a,ß-insaturados, aldehídos C5 alifáticos y productos auxiliares; la descarga de una parte de la fase acuosa del catalizador para retirar el agua de reacción y la complementación de dicha parte con la solución de licor y subsecuentemente el regreso de dicha parte al reactor de tubo. El objetivo de la invención es mejorar un método de dicho tipo de tal manera que requiera menor ingreso de energía. Esto se logra ya que los aldehídos C5 alifáticos y/o los aldehídos C10 a, ß-insaturados se dispersan en la base acuosa como gotas, en donde el diámetro Sauter promedio de las gotas se encuentra entre 0.2 mm y 2 mm.
