Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método para producir energía y sedimento no putrescible, en donde dicho método incluye las siguientes etapas: (i) producir el sedimento digerido por medio de digestión de sedimentos primaria; (ii) producir un primer efluente acuoso y sedimento digerido, que están al menos parcialmente deshidratados por una primera separación de líquidos-sólidos del sedimento digerido producido en la etapa (i); (iii) producir el sedimento digerido al menos parcialmente deshidratado e hidrolizado mediante hidrólisis térmica del sedimento digerido al menos parcialmente deshidratado en la etapa (ii); (iv) digiriendo el sedimento digerido al menos parcialmente deshidratado e hidrolizado producido en la etapa (iii); en donde dicho método además incluye una etapa de recuperar los biogases formados durante dicha digestión y dicha digestión primaria y una etapa de producir energía de dicho biogás, incluyendo una primera sub-etapa de producir la energía requerida para implementar dicha hidrólisis y una sub-etapa para producir energía en exceso, la totalidad de la biograsa siendo usada para producir electricidad.
