Abstract

En un procedimiento de carga de un horno de cuba, en particular de un horno alto, los lotes de material de carga normalmente son descargados en secuencia cíclica dentro del horno desde una tolva superior utilizando una válvula de control de flujo; un método y sistema es propuesto para ajustar la velocidad de flujo del material de carga en dicho procedimiento; de acuerdo con la presente invención, un grupo respectivo de ajustes de válvula plurales se almacena para cada lote, cada ajuste de válvula de un grupo estando asociado con una etapa diferente en la descarga del lote; el método y sistema son configurados para descargar un lote determinado de manera que, en cada etapa en la descarga del lote determinado, la válvula de control de flujo opera a una abertura de válvula constante de acuerdo con el ajuste de válvula asociada a esa etapa y de manera que una velocidad de flujo promedio real al cual el material de carga es descargado, de determinó para esa etapa; adicionalmente, de acuerdo con la presente invención, el método y sistema son configurados para corregir las configuraciones de válvula plurales fuera de línea y en función de la velocidad de flujo promedio real determinado para la etapa asociada.
