Abstract
La presente invención es concerniente con sistemas de codificación de audio que hacen uso de un método de transposición armónica para reconstrucción de alta frecuencia (HFR). Se describe un sistema y método para generar un componente de alta frecuencia de una señal a partir de un componente de baja frecuencia de la señal. El sistema comprende un banco de filtros de análisis que proveen una pluralidad de señales de sub-banda de análisis del componente de baja frecuencia de la señal. También comprende una unidad de procesamiento no lineal para generar una señal de sub-banda de síntesis con una frecuencia de síntesis al modificar la fase de una primera y una segunda de la pluralidad de señales de sub-banda de análisis y al combinar las señales de sub-banda de análisis modificadas en fase. Finalmente comprende un banco de filtros de síntesis para generar el componente de alta frecuencia de la señal a partir de la señal de sub-banda de síntesis.
