Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a los nuevos N-óxidos de un derivado de 1,4-diaza-biciclo[3.2.2]nonil-oxadiazolilo y su uso en la fabricación de composiciones farmacéuticas. Los compuestos de la invención son encontrados como ligandos colinérgicos en los receptores nicotínicos de acetilcolina. Debido a su perfil farmacológico, los compuestos de la invención pueden ser útiles para el tratamiento de enfermedades o trastornos tan diversos como aquellos relacionados al sistema colinérgico del sistema nervioso central (SNC), el sistema nervioso periférico (SNP), enfermedades o trastornos relacionados a la contracción del músculo liso, enfermedades o trastornos endócrinos, enfermedades o trastornos relacionados a la neuro-degeneración, enfermedades o trastornos relacionados a la inflamación, dolor, y síntomas de abstinencia provocados por la terminación de abuso de sustancias químicas.
