Abstract
Un auxiliar de extracción ha sido encontrado, el cual proporciona una remoción de contaminantes intensificada, tales como metales y aminas, a partir de petróleos crudos que usa componentes que son deseables en procesos de desalado ya que los componentes son solubles en agua, tienen baja toxicidad, son altamente biodegradables y exhiben alta estabilidad térmica. De acuerdo con una modalidad de la invención, un auxiliar de extracción que proporciona propiedades de extracción intensificadas está comprendido por una mezcla de ácidos, en particular ácidos solubles en agua. De manera más específica, una combinación de dos ácidos elegidos del grupo que consiste de ácido acético, ácido sulfúrico, ácido glicólico, ácido cítrico y ácido metanosulfónico.
