Abstract
La presente invención está relacionada con material termoplástico que comprende un polímero y al menos una sustancia policromática, en donde la sustancia policromática es un diacetileno funcionalizado que tiene la fórmula que contiene la estructura general: X-CEC-CC-Y-(CO)n-QZ en donde X es H o un alquilo, Y es un grupo alquileno divalente, Q es 0, 8 o NR, R es H o un alquilo, y Z es un alquilo, y n es O ó 1. La presente invención se refiere, adicionalmente, a un método de procesamiento de material termoplástico para formar un artículo de plástico, en donde el método comprende la etapa de procesamiento del material termoplástico a una temperatura mayor que la temperatura de fusión del termoplástico, en donde el material termoplástico comprende un polímero y al menos una sustancia policromática según lo definido anteriormente; y comprende, adicionalmente, la etapa de irradiar el artículo de plástico para colorear al menos una región del artículo de plástico.
