Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un eje forjado a partir de tubos sin costura, con una composición química adecuada para garantizar la alta resistencia a la fatiga, límite elástico mejorado y resistencia a la tracción mejorada, y que tiene peso reducido para el uso en vehículos de ferrocarril. La presente invención se refiere además a un proceso para fabricar el eje forjado a partir de tubo de acero sin costura con alta resistencia a la fatiga, límite elástico y resistencia a la tracción mejorados, y que tiene peso reducido para el uso en vehículos de ferrocarril, que es producido a partir de hierro en lingotes o chatarra, vaciado, horno de recalentamiento, perforación de palanquillas, alargamiento de palanquillas perforadas, acabado de los tochos huecos, forja y maquinación de acabado, que incluye un chaflán de soporte y de centrado en el borde interno del orificio de inspección del extremo y el hueco liso en la entrada de los orificios roscados.
