Abstract
Se revela un proceso útil para producir paneles acústicos basados en alta lana mineral de baja densidad con mejores propiedades de absorción acústica utilizando un proceso de fieltrado al agua. EL proceso incluye formar una mezcla de suspensión diluida que incluye agua, lana mineral, un aglutinante termoplástico y/o almidón; y distribuir la suspensión diluida sobre un vehículo poroso para deshidratar la suspensión hasta una placa base mediante drenaje por gravedad para quitar el agua por gravedad. Un vacío se ajusta para aplicar vacío gradualmente a la placa base deshidratada por gravedad para deshidratar adicionalmente la placa base sin someterla a presión estática que comprima la placa base. La placa base se seca para formar un producto de techo acústico que tiene una baja densidad y excelentes propiedades de absorción acústica.
