Abstract
Una lámina de acero para tanques de combustible que tiene un recubrimiento de aleación de Zn-Ni galvanizado sobre al menos un lado de la lámina y un recubrimiento cromado formado sobre el recubrimiento de la aleación. El recubrimiento cromado muestra un cambio en la acumulación del cromo después de la inmersión en agua hirviente durante 30 minutos, de hasta 2% con base en la acumulación del cromo antes de la inmersión, un valor de L (que indica el tono de color de la superficie de la lámina de acero) de 55 o más alto, y una diferencia entre el máximo y el mínimo de los valores de L de dentro de 3. El recubrimiento de cromado puede ser formado aplicando un fluido de tratamiento de cromado que contiene ácido crómico a una relación por peso de cromo trivalente/cromo total que excede de 0.5, ácido fosfórico a una relación por peso de ácido fosfórico/cromo total de 0.1 a 5.0 y un agente reductor orgánico sobre el recubrimiento de la aleación anterior, y calentando la lámina resultante. La lámina de acero ejerce excelente resistencia a la corrosión de combustibles tales como gasolina, alcoholes y gasolinas mezcladas con alcohol, durante un largo periodo, y tiene una excelente apariencia en la superficie.
