Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para formar un ácido graso, un éster de ácido graso o una mezcla de los mismos a partir de un material de partida que comprende un jabón, en cuyo proceso se agrega un agente formador de ión de metal al material de partida, formando de esta manera una mezcla, la cual contiene una fase insoluble y una fase líquida, fa fase insoluble es separada de la fase líquida y un ácido es agregado en la fase insoluble para formar un ácido graso, o un alcohol monohídrico y un catalizador ácido son agregados para formar un éster de ácido graso, por lo que las dos fases son formadas, una fase acuosa y una fase orgánica, o un primero, un ácido es agregado y luego un alcohol monohídrico y un catalizador ácido son agregados dentro de por lo menos una porción del ácido graso formado para esterificar el ácido graso.
