Abstract
La presente invención hace referencia a un procedimiento para la fabricación de una banda de metal (1) mediante laminación de colada continua en el que primero se vierte un desbaste delgado (3) en una máquina de fundición (2), con lo que a continuación éste es laminado, al menos, en un tren de laminación (4, 5) utilizando el calor primario del proceso de fundición, con lo que en un primer modo de servicio se puede realizar una fabricación continua de la banda de metal (1) (laminación sin fin) a través de un acoplamiento directo de la máquina de fundición (2) con el, al menos, un tren! de laminación (4, 5) y con lo que en un segundo modo de servicio se puede realizar una fabricación discontinua de la banda de metal (1) (servicio por lotes) a través de un desacoplamiento de la máquina de fundición (2) del, al menos, un tren de laminación (4, 5). Para aumentar la flexibilidad de la instalación la presente invención prevé, conforme al procedimiento, que los desbastes (3) o las bandas previas (3') fundidos detrás de la máquina de fundición (2), en dirección de transporte de la banda (F), sean extraídos de la línea principal de transporte (6) durante la marcha de la fabricación discontinua de la banda de metal (1), luego sean almacenados y luego sean transportados nuevamente a la línea principal de transporte (6), con lo que los desbastes (3) o las bandas previas (3') extraídos son llevados o mantenidos a una temperatura deseada antes de ser transportados nuevamente a la línea principal de transporte (6). Por lo demás, el invento hace referencia a un dispositivo para la fabricación de una banda de metal (1) mediante laminación de colada continua.
