Abstract
Se describen los sistemas y metodologías que facilitan el procesamiento de unidades de datos de servicio (SDU) en orden durante la transferencia de comunicación en redes inalámbricas. En particular, para los dispositivos móviles que utilizan los esquemas de re-transmisión, las SDU pueden procesarse en orden al indicar a una estación base objetivo un índice de por lo menos una SDU recibida en orden antes de transferir la comunicación a la estación base objetivo. Además, las SDU recibidas después de una o más SDU no confirmadas pueden enviarse a una estación base objetivo. Al utilizar esta información, la estación base objetivo puede determinar una o más SDUs que el dispositivo móvil prepara para volver a transmitir y puede esperar esta SDU antes de procesar las SDUs posteriormente recibidas. Además, puede utilizarse un temporizador para finalizar un periodo de espera de la SDU.
