Abstract

Una bomba de calor química incluye una parte (1) de reactor que contiene una sustancia activa y una parte (3) de evaporador/condensador que contiene esa porción de líquido volátil que existe en un estado condensado y puede absorberse por la sustancia activa. Un canal (4) interconecta la parte de reactor y la parte de evaporador/condensador. Para calentar la parte de reactor, una porción de esta pared se dispone como un colector de energía solar, lo cual puede dar como resultado una estructura muy compacta. En al menos la parte de reactor se proporciona una matriz (13) para la sustancia activa de modo que la sustancia activa tanto en su estado sólido como en su estado líquido o en su fase de solución se mantenga o transporte por o se una a la matriz. La matriz es ventajosamente un material inerte tal como el óxido de aluminio y tiene poros, los cuales son permeables para el líquido volátil y en los cuales se ubica la sustancia activa. En particular, puede utilizarse un material que tenga una superficie o superficies, en las cuales pueda unirse la sustancia activa en su estado líquido de la misma. Por ejemplo, la matriz puede ser un material que comprenda partículas separadas tales como un polvo o un material de fibra comprimida.
