Abstract

La presente invención generalmente se dirige a composiciones lubricantes a base de triéster. La presente invención también se dirige a métodos para hacer estas y otras composiciones lubricantes similares. En algunas modalidades, los métodos para hacer tales lubricantes a base de triéster utilizan productos de Fischer Tropsch (FT) de bajo valor (por ejemplo, alcoholes) para producir lubricantes a base de triéster de alto valor.
