Abstract

Se describe un método y aparato para generar y procesar una unidad de datos de protocolo (PDU) de control de acceso de medios (MAC-ehs) de canal compartido de enlace descendente de alta velocidad (HS-DSCH). Las unidades de datos de servicio MAC-ehs (SDU) se multiplexan en base en una identidad de canal lógico. El reordenamiento de las PDU se genera a partir de las SDU de MAC-ehs multiplexadas. Un reordenamiento de PDU incluye por lo menos una SDU de MACehs y/o por lo menos un segmento de una SDU de MAC-ehs. Una SDU de MAC-ehs se segmenta sobre una base de clase de prioridad si una SDU de MAC-ehs no se ajusta en un reordenamiento de PDU. Se genera una PDU de MAC-ehs que incluye por lo menos un reordenamiento de PDO. Las SDU de MAC-ehs se pueden almacenar en filas de prioridad antes de generar el reordenamiento de las PDU. De manera alternativa, el reordenamiento de las PDU se puede generar a partir de las SDU de MAC-ehs multiplexadas. De manera alternativa, las SDU de MAC-ehs recibidas se pueden almacenar en una memoria intermedia correspondiente para cada canal lógico antes de que se multiplexen en base en una identidad de canal lógica o se genera un reordenamiento de las PDO.
