Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la purificación de agua mediante la adición de carbonato de calcio natural que reacciona en la superficie o una suspensión acuosa que comprende carbonato de calcio que reacciona en la superficie y que tiene un pH mayor de 6.0 medido a 20ºC, al medio, en donde el carbonato de calcio que reacciona en la superficie es un producto de reacción del carbonato de calcio natural con dióxido de carbono y uno o más ácidos y el uso de el carbonato de calcio natural que reacciona en la superficie para este procedimiento.
