Abstract

La invención se relaciona con un dispositivo y un método para el acabado y la calibración de preformas (10) que son retiradas de una herramienta de inyección múltiple teniendo un contorno inestable, y propone un enfriamiento por aire integrado en unos manguitos (21) de enfriamiento enfriados por agua para el lado externo de la cara del extremo abierto de la preforma (10). En particular en el caso de variedades especiales de preforma se puede reforzar en el lado externo las zonas que no son soportadas en el manguito (21) de enfriamiento desde el inicio de la transferencia de los moldes (8, 9) abiertos a los manguitos de extracción y/o de enfriamiento mediante un enfriamiento que usa aire de enfriamiento o aire refrigerado. Gracias a la solución nueva se vuelve posible garantizar la calidad máxima en particular con relación a la estabilidad dimensional y la ausencia de puntos de presión bajo carga mediante una calibración en los manguitos (32) de enfriamiento y el tratamiento en el área de enfriamiento posterior.
