Abstract

Se divulgan aquí compuestos de antisentido y métodos para reducir LDL-C en un individuo que tiene un nivel elevado de LDL-C. Se divulgan además compuestos de antisentido y métodos para tratar la hipercolesterolemia, o bien alternativamente para tratar y prevenir la arterosclerosis. Tales métodos incluyen la administración a un individuo que requiere de tratamiento de un compuesto de antisentido enfocado a un ácido nucleido de PCSK9.
