Abstract

Un proceso de tratamiento posterior de disolución de calcita basada en H2SO4 y aparato para desalar agua se proporciona. El proceso comprende separar cationes de agua de mar mediante resina de intercambio de iones en la cual los iones se cargan, haciendo contacto la resina de intercambio de iones cargada con los cationes con un efluente de un reactor de disolución de calcita donde los cationes se intercambian con CA<2+> desde este efluente. La concentración CA<2+> del agua desalación resultante disminuye mientras que la concentración de cationes aumenta para cumplir con los criterios de calidad requeridos. El aparato de tipo por lote y continuo por el cual el proceso puede llevarse a cabo se describe.
