Abstract

Se proporciona una nueva composición polimérica que comprende (i) un polímero que tiene una cadena polimérica principal derivada de (ia) de al menos un 30% en peso a 100% en peso, basado en el polímero, de un primer monómero que introduce al menos uno de un carbono secundario y un carbono terciario en la cadena polimérica principal, y (ib) en el intervalo de 0 a 70% en peso, basado en el polímero, de al menos otro monómero; (ii) al menos una sal de litio; y (iii) al menos un antioxidante, así como un procedimiento para producir un vulcanizado polimérico que comprende la etapa de vulcanizar la composición polimérica mencionada anteriormente que comprende adicionalmente un sistema de vulcanización. Se proporciona también un procedimiento para mejorar las características de envejecimiento por aire caliente y de resistencia a fluido acuoso del polímero mencionado anteriormente que comprende la etapa de mezclar dicho polímero con al menos una sal de litio y al menos un antioxidante.
