Abstract
En sus muchas modalidades, la presente invención proporciona una nueva clase de compuestos de fórmula estructural I (ver fórmula (I)) como inhibidores de los receptores CCR5, métodos de preparación de tales compuestos, composiciones farmacéuticas que contienen uno o más de tales compuestos, métodos de preparación de formulaciones farmacéuticas que comprenden uno o más de tales compuestos y métodos de tratamiento, prevención, inhibición, o mejora de una o más enfermedades asociadas con CCR5, utilizando tales compuestos o composiciones farmacéuticas; la invención también se refiere al uso de una combinación de un compuesto de esta invención y uno o más agentes antivirales u otros agentes útiles para el tratamiento del Virus de Inmunodeficiencia Humana (VIH); la invención además se refiere al uso de un compuesto de esta invención, solo o en combinación con otro agente para el tratamiento del rechazo a trasplante de órgano sólido, enfermedad injerto v. huésped, artritis, artritis reumatoide, enfermedad intestinal inflamatoria, dermatitis atópica, psoriasis, asma, alergias o esclerosis múltiple.
