Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para la purificación anaerobia de aguas residuales usando un sistema de lecho de lodo, el proceso comprende alimentar aguas residuales y opcionalmente agua de recirculación, a la parte inferior de un reactor de flujo ascendente , que contiene principalmente biomasa granular produciendo así biogas en el tratamiento pasando la mezcla de gas/líquido/sólido resultante hacia arriba y separa el gas y sólido del líquido en un separador de tres fases y por lo cual se genera un efluente anaerobio que es extraído de la parte superior del separador, el mejoramiento comprende separar los líquidos del líquido en separador, en donde, antes de la separación del gas de la fase líquida, placas, tubos inclinados u otras partes internas inclinadas se instalan en el cuerpo de separador de tres fases para incrementar la superficie de asentamiento efectiva, a un reactor de flujo ascendente adecuado para este proceso así como un separador de tres fases.
