Abstract

Se provee un metodo y un aparato para probar las caracteristicas de una colada de horno. De preferencia el metodo y el aparato proveen una prueba segura y eficiente de la temperatura del metal y de la composicion del metal fundido durante el ciclo de fusion del metal. De acuerdo con un aspecto de la invencion, usada en el proceso de fabricacion de cero en un horno de arco electrico, se mueve reciprocamente una sonda de horno a traves de una abertura de obturador de sonda de horno; se retrae la sonda de horno de la abertura de obturador de sonda de horno; se inserta una sonda de horno a traves de la abertura de obturador para sonda de horno; se retrae la sonda de horno de la abertura y se inserta el obturador de la abertura para sonda de horno dentro de la abertura de obturador para sonda de horno.
