Abstract

Procedimiento para la modificacion de betun con polvo de caucho de desecho que comprende una primera etapa en la que se mezcla polvo de 5 caucho con aceite aromatico, en unas proporciones comprendidas enter 98-60% y 2-40% respectivamente, y una segunda etapa en la que se mezcla el polvo de caucho resultante de la primera etapa con el betun, en unas proporciones comprendidas entre 3-30% y 97-70% respectivamente, a una temperatura comprendida entre 140-200 degree C y durante un tiempo comprendido entre 5-40 minutos. Las principales ventajas de procedimiento son que se consigue modificar el betun en un tiempo inferior al de los procedimientos conocidos y que se pueden controlar las especificaciones del betun modificado, lo que hace factible su utilizacion desde un punto comercial, contribuyendo con ello a resolver el problema medioambiental planteado por los excedentes de neumaticos.
