Abstract

Se provee un procedimiento para el desenriquecimiento de composiciones enantiomericamente enriquecidas que comprende hacer reaccionar una composicion enantiomericamente enriquecida que comprende por lo menos un primer enantiomero o diastereomero de un substrato que comprende un enlace carbono-heteroatomo, en donde el carbono es un centro quiral y el heteroatomo es un heteroatomo del grupo V, en presencia de un sistema catalizador y opcionalmente un promotor de reaccion para dar una composicion de producto que comprende primeros y segundos enantiomeros o diastereomeros del substrato que tiene un enlace carbono-heteroatomo, la relacion del segundo al primer enantiomero o diastereomero en la composicion del producto es mayor a la relacion del segundo al primer enantiomero o diastereomero en la composicion enantiomericamente enriquecida; los sistemas catalizadores preferidos incluyen un complejo de haluro de metal de transicion de la formula MnXpYr en donde M es un metal de transicion; X es un haluro; Y es un grupo neutro formador de complejos de hidrocarbilo opcionalmente sustituido, un grupo neutro formador de complejos de hidrocarbilo perhalogenado opcionalmente sustituido, o un grupo formador de complejos de ciclopentadienilo opcionalmente sustituido; y n, p y r son numeros enteros; el promotor de reaccion es preferiblemente una sal haluro.
