Omni Music welcomes another newcomer to the label, the fantastic 1xxe. He demonstrates his skills with 3 tracks of break heavy artcore jungle. The opening track 'This Place' encapsulates his sound perfectly, classic chopped jungle breaks, thundering bass hooks and supersonic amens. 'I've Been There' transports you right back to the mid 90's with soulful pads, piano hooks and nostalgic amen hits. The title track 'Egemonic' takes the amens into deeper territory as eastern instruments converge with emotional strings to create a cinematic journey. Label owner Eschaton jumps in to give his own take on 'This Place' to end the EP where he takes the original sounds and blends them into his own sonic vision.
