The most crucial aspect of Western propaganda is their abuse of their own people. One cannot simply escape the world they were born into, even if there is a different country it requires extraordinary effort for most workers to change citizenship. And even tourism is limited, the worker isn’t going to go to China, they’re gonna fly to Italy or more likely something as Egypt. Where tourism companies treat them like kings (while exploiting locals)
Eventually the people who built this empire of lies perish, but their lackies have been sniffing their farts for so long they believe all their own lies, this is how the empire dies. It’s happened before.

My more serious response is that as Western political scientists would put it, this is the first time in history where a developing country is now one of the world’s largest economies, whereas the EU economy is relatively stagnant and not growing. It is entirely possible that China’s economy can and will exceed the entire EU bloc (assuming it continues as it is rather than doing a Japan-style bubble burst), and the idea that
might not be running the world anymore after centuries in charge is terrifying to them. Yeah, China actually hasn’t been acting as a threat, but from their perspective, a new superpower is always a security risk.

Please provide a source for this statement. I have never heard about chinese people being punished for answering a poll wrong.
