    I need spinning disk drives to get back down in price so I can get a couple to fill out my Jellyfin server

      At least for bigger corpos, this is already the case since decades ago. Data brokers store everything they can, even encrypted network traffic.

    AFAIK SMR drives are slow because the tracks have overlay, but they should also make a conventional drive at 28 TB that will probably be faster.
    IDK I use SSD and I only have 2 TB.
