I read it more as “I reject your theory”. A lot of times I feel the communist side push theory in a cult like propaganda manner to silence other opinions and ignoring the human element. Not to say theory doesn’t have its place, but it shouldn’t be revered as a religion. I don’t mind communist memes, not a fan of ML/authleft memes though. But I’ve had leftymemes blocked since they lied about their rules, so I don’t know how bad it’s gotten.

    “What if I don’t wanna?”

Negligence is still a form of imposing will on someone imo.

“I don’t wanna wear a mask during COVID.” Well, then your actions are imposing the spread of a disease on others.

What do people think science is? No really?

It’s just the study of the observable natural world.

So what do they mean ‘human element’?! Are humans not a part of the natural world?

Who am I kidding, this is all vibes and no thought.

To the extent that most people have a philosophy of science, it’s just pure Baconian early Western enlightenment tripe, which is predicated on a strong division between experimenter and experiment, or between human and natural world. It’s a foundational myth of western civilization.

It’s so strange to me that people can see themselves as separate from the natural world.

But maybe that’s just because my definition of the natural world is just “whatever exists in nature” and my definition of nature is “The universe”.

Like everything is just fundamental particles arranged I’m different ways. So we’re all the same shit experiencing life from different angles, right? Or is that reductive?

But also I might just be weird and sleepy. Lol.

I think “the same shit in different configurations” might be a little more accurate, at least when speaking of us compared to other massive bodies like plants or rocks or clouds, but that’s probably what you were saying anyway.

But like, what if I don’t wanna?

This is an excellent example of the liberalism at the heart of the attitudes of many so-called anarchists. You can’t run a society where the law is opt-in unless we’re casting all of these people into effectively a penal colony where there is no law and warlords reign supreme when they opt out (which I think would be inhumane and amount to cruel and unusual punishment).

Unfortunately for them, democracy does not mean that you get whatever you want, it means following the majority decision. I agree that we shouldn’t have government officials imposing unpopular policy on the majority, but if the majority supports a policy for how society should be run, then you can’t just go “nah” because that’s not how the law works.

Sometimes you need to trace yours steps to where you ideologically ended up.

I was a social democrat because I thought everyone should have access to education, healthcare, housing and a habitable environment.

I am a socialist because that model is utterly unsustainable in what is a clear class war.

Oh hey it’s the guy who banned me for ‘homophobia’ because I complained about using ‘cumrags’ instead of ‘comrades’ in one of his dogshit meme post titles.

At this point it’s the people obsessing over tankies who act like cultists

hey look, it’s a suspiciously radial symmetric symbol, (symbolising a sun?) for this anti-communist ideology

it is an anarchy symbol, rather modern one (chaos something), indicates internet poisoning (draw this on a porshe, dipshits) anarchy-a-white

*although commie symbols not being quickly taggable is a problem, but a in a circle lowers property values just the same

        it is an anarchy symbol

No, the chaosphere is a fantasy symbol created for fantasy novels (Moorcock’s Eternal Champions stories) that first appeared in Science Fantasy magazine in 1962 and when clearly defined symbolizes fantasy concepts that do not map onto reality. It was subsequently appropriated by anti-bedtime nerds who thinks “Opposition to [the fundamental cosmic force of] Order” is a very clever guiding principle, that doesn’t make it an “anarchist symbol”

        e) Sorry, this whole thread got me so worked up. If there was a group who came out using the Rebel Alliance symbol from star wars and claimed it was an Anarchist symbol would you expect that to be taken seriously?

Kinda? All symbols are larping in some fashion, people don’t use sickles for a century or more in imperial core, decades in other parts of the world Care-Comrade . If people set cop cars on fire and left a rebel alliance card, and done this across the world, at some point rebel alliance would become anarchist symbol. *I might think it’s very cringe privately, whatever, but praxis makes symbols carry weight, not ideal graphic design or history

Like acab is relatively modern conception, strongly associated with anarchism, so 1312 kinda became that non? 8 pointed arrows as a thingy pops up here and there, although it does have unfortunate associations and i think is very silly (mainly due to ease of drawing)

Put it another way, if i saw it graffitied, my first thought would be there are comrades here, just when i see wpww on celtic cross, i know this is fash place. anarchy-a-white is also not like historical symbol, it’s from 70s
