European arrivals to the U.S. in the first three quarters of 2025 totaled approximately 11.8 million, representing a 3.1% decline compared to the same period in 2024. This data, sourced from the U.S. Department of Commerceโ€™s I-92 air travel statistics, reflects year-to-date trends but does not yet include full-year 2025 figures, which are typically published with a 3โ€“6 month delay after the calendar year ends.

It probably has by now. These are 3 months out of date, and mostly over a period when things were only bonkers, not psychotic.

Every now and then I get reminders like this that most people donโ€™t pay that much attention to the news

Iโ€™m seeing so many Europeans I follow brainlessly go to the US and get yelled at by their followers.

Now separate the numbers between work travel (compulsory) and leisure. Iโ€™d not be surprised to see the latter fall off a cliff.

Iโ€™ve been to the US 10-15 times. Lovely people, at least in the areas I went, and beautiful land. All for work.

But now Iโ€™d not cross the border (ie. submit to the Taking Shoes Agency, or worse) if you paid me. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

My colleague used to regularly visit for work and conferences but he can no longer go because heโ€™s always (and I mean always) sent back at the border. Heโ€™s originally from Afghanistan but has a British passport.

Itโ€™s the first 3 quarter of 2025. 1st quarter I expect thereโ€™d have been no appreciable drop (Gulf of America time). 2nd quarter a bit but still probably not much (Tariffs). Things went progressively worse over the year and I expect it will have been the deportations and ICE that will have stopped people.
