I work in a small satellite engineering lab of a massive corporation. We all constantly complain about the company, their 100%-AI internal emails, and all the other corporate BS that we are at least somewhat insulated from.

Yeah, there should just be some colored wires behind it that correspond to heating/cooling. If you look up the instructions for wiring up a Google Nest, it should have a few different configurations that correspond to different systems, and likely one of them will match what you find!

Just don’t forget to turn off the breaker before you pull it off!

Can you send a picture of the wiring behind the control panel? If it is standard wiring for a furnace/AC, then you could use any smart thermostat like Nest, Zigbee, etc.
