I feel like there’s less of a mental barrier to transitioning if a trans girl likes boys. The gay cis to straight trans is less of a social jump than straight cis to gay trans. If your friends already think you’re gay and are cool with it, they’re more likely to be accepting when you come out as trans. So they probably transition earlier and just get on with straight woman things, like sobbing into a glass of gin because their husband doesn’t take them seriously. You know, instead of shit posting on Linux forums.

I never really worked out what step 3 actually is, but it seems to be entirely necessary for the success of the mission.

My go to strategy before my current partner, was to go out to a club and find a woman who looked as messed up and drunk as me, start dancing with her, step 3, go back to her place.

I mean if that’s your goal. But if you’re planning on getting a penile inversion vaginoplasty at some point, you should be aware that it’s dependent on having that tissue to work with. But if it’s giving you significant dysphoria, you could for example take a blocker and then a small quantity of sildenafil before bed so you dont witness the erections. That’s just if you wanted piv. I’m not sure of the requirements for other operations.

I have (being a recent trans hatchling) had many male friends over the years, and 90% of those I consider good friends were either gay or later came out as trans.
