wow this game has plot twists stacked upon plot twists, what an emotional rollercoaster

x3

no one said the goblin’s challenge is going to be fair!

hi Outgrabe!!! really the only few assets i used are in the credits above. the spaceship asset spritesheet has several color variants when you download it, and i used one of them. the floor texture used was in the “grass” folder if i remember correctly, good luck!!!!

just finished my playthrough, this was cute, i will now go to sleep to check what dream visions await me in turn!

i came here after playing sky and flare from the cookie jam bc i had a feeling like i didn’t experience an Aria game properly. this one was a bit more up my alley when it comes to mechanics. thematically i have not played a game like this before, it was an interesting experience and gave me some kind of an unidentified emotion. thank you!

i wasn’t able to get very far, but i appreciate the concept here a lot a lot a lot. the characters are very loveable from the moment you look at their skills and status menus, even before they’ve had a chance to say anything. cute

this was a good read… keep experimenting! love the sketches and love reading these notes!

i made it by the skin of my teeth! this one seems really fine-tuned, and being able to see the entire layout from the start and make decisions off of that made it a satisfying puzzle, inspirational stuff!

(1 edit)

goblin gold is only for the lucky few! like someone wrote in comments below there is quite a lot of 50/50s here - next time i make a puzzle in rmaker i’ll try to make something that’s always solvable!

i really enjoy all the rm lore that’s forming around all the entries in the jam! i am pretty sure though the goblins would be repulsed by the thought of eating human flesh, goblins have dignity

i think the king would be more than happy to tax the goblins too actually! feels weird to submit two goblin related games to the same jam but thanks for playing them both! <3

congrats on getting a great score despite being slightly bepeeved

i see you also played a great ordinary life of a small community by Dragon Wasabi Potato, excellent taste

thank youuu! yes this is a proper goblinsweeper-like, and yes the arrangement of the goblins is dynamic. each barrel has a corresponding variable, and there is an initialization event that autoruns at the start of the level, iterates through the barrels at random and sets the variables to 1 until all goblins have been distributed :))

i didnt even think of that but it makes a ton of sense - jokes about the megarich are literally writing themselves

wonderful, thank you for saving the forest! i wanted to complete this entry in <1h so i had to make several split-second decisions, making the map loopable was the first of them :)))

insane cinematic experience, i truly identified with the trials and tribulations of the characters, and i am glad i could assist grghhl in helping, or at least acknowledging some of them!!

yaaay congrats, you are worthy! and yes, i think also the shape of the map slightly increases the amount of guesswork you have to do. all the more good job on the win!

i think the other villagers would like this idea

kaboom

ah so it was incrementing the variable after all, i wasnt sure if you used that or just made copies of the map. using a variable is the elegant move, but map duplication is also cute

i super enjoyed it, i played some more after commenting and the progression of the puzzles also felt very natural, really good job

mmm very nice, you used a very limited set of maps but i loved all the details added here. this was a very nice rite of passage, i am sure skeleton-san will now r in p

yeeeaaah

ahhhh such a nice cute entry for the jam! i had a great time grindi… i mean facing every challenge head on and never stopping to look back!! very satisfying ending, but it’s not only the ending that matters… it’s the frieeeends??? we made along the way

i accidentally didn’t hit post reply when responding to your comment. now every day i think about this and live with the guilt of not having replied. i don’t even remember what my reply was but probably something slightly dumb like “good job on restoring every vibe”

looks like the little pests gave you a run for your money, but good job for catching them!

i am sure this will not come back to bite him

ahhh this is so nice… i went into this without properly looking at the screenshots or reading the description, and the first level had such a satisfying “aha” moment when i realized how the puzzles are going to work. i love this

ahhhhh so nice, i got a good number of endings and had great fun judging/ enacting revenge upon/ helping the citizens of this small hamlet. i think hawk is the hero/ cold-blooded killer we should all strive to be???

this was super cute! yuri cookies the best flavor of cookies!!

i actually forgot i called them that in a frenzy of making this aberration, thanks for reminding me

what an absolute banger i loved chatting with all the weirdos here, the people of this world are so alive, each with their fears and passions! the map was utilized to the max, the party composition also a nice touch, overall i am completely gobsmacked, another one for the cultural heritage folder

i think its actually quite amazing how much could be inferred here from just the party composition and the skills. even before getting to the second phase i assumed there must be one, so that Diao’s skills can have some sort of use and payoff. it did take me 2 runs though until i got also that Diao should not use magic in the first phase

ahh nice, i tried a couple of runs and i wasnt able to beat it, but it was enough for me to figure out kind of what the strat should be. i think thats an interesting progression to the fight!

ohhhhhh wow Gamekeeper that is quite a mix of things!! be sure to let me know if you finish it! (and even if you dont end up publishing it you can send me a secret link to pebonius at gmail and i will play it for sure!)

ahhhh so nice!!

peak gaming right here, amazing production values, high stakes encounters and satisfying pay off, thank you

what a great entry, i loved my time with this! i liked how the gameplay was structured and all the tiny cutscenes and animations. i wasn’t able to win but i think that’s probably just nature’s revenge for overfishing. 10/10 banger

that is a good pun now that you brought it up, but i think the only chest in the game that is nut-worthy is harada sensei’s? though tree-lovers might feel differently i guess!
