pixie forest
this is my first (probably not last) entry for the cookie cutter rm2k3 jam
since this is my first time working with rpgmaker 2003 i wanted to try making something very small first, this was done in less than 1h of time
none of the map tiles were changed, but i did use a few events to "fix" the trees after making the map loopable

The forest is quiet and peaceful again once more after sending the pixies packing (I assume the minotaur is here to address a noise complaint; fairy parties get out of control easy I think).
Final score of 16, I almost got some groups of them but they scattered >:(
I wouldn't of thought to make the map loopable to turn it into like, one big board? That was smart :3

Final score of 9. If we're going by golf rules...that still isn't very good. But I got em all
looks like the little pests gave you a run for your money, but good job for catching them!

I don't want to believe a pixie could ever have bad vibes, I'm choosing to believe this minotaur was being a meanie face instead and that hikers could be more mindful.
thank you for the lovely game! I love rpg maker games that use its systems to do something simple, fun and not necessarily rpg-ey.
yes, in this case the minotaur represents an interventionist approach to nature. my preference would be to leave the pixies alone and wait until the giant spiders appear. then the ecosystem would regulate itself
though in that scenario hikers would probably need to start taking another route altogether

i accidentally didn’t hit post reply when responding to your comment. now every day i think about this and live with the guilt of not having replied. i don’t even remember what my reply was but probably something slightly dumb like “good job on restoring every vibe”
Had a pretty hard time getting all the pixies. Took me a bunch of tries and I got a 6!

I tried on my phone and couldn't do it at all. 😭 But I did a lot better when I found a laptop. I got 21 after a few goes.
So. Uh. What do I do with this sack of angry pixies...
amazing, 21 is a good score! yeah on the phone its tough, this was playtested on the pc only due to short dev time
i think you should be able to find a buyer for pixie dust, you’d just need to dry and grind them first
