If there ever is a full on Celeste 2, I hope it expands on this game, cause this gameplay is fun as hell, it's rough at first but once you get a hang of it it's SO fun...
This is a really simple idea with a really nice and fun execution, the animations are easily the standout feature, I ADORE this game's art style and would love to see such a style in a larger game!
This was such a fun little game!! I especially loved the fact that you actually had to switch between the various abilities in quick succession, and the grapple hook wasn't too finnicky either!!
This was a really silly game that genuinely made me laugh, at first I thought the game was taking such an unserious concept too seriously, but when I realized the whole thing is just a massive parody I really enjoyed it and had a really fun time!
This was a simple and cute little game!! The whole "everything is cutesy until it gets scary at the very end" thing didn't hit very hard for me, but I did really appreciate how there wasn't a copout big jumpscare at the end! I also like how the collecting stuff mechanic never became too annoying, it made the game go by at a very brisk pace!
I already said all I can in my review of the game (which you can see on my profile) but this was a really lovely experience, and if there will be more coming, then I will be there to play it because god damn does this game have all the ingredients to become something TRULY special!!
I love how sudden the area transitions are it always catches me off guard. I kinda wish that the golden spirits were just normal spirits to prevent that endgame "needle in a haystack" situation, but to be fair the haystack is very small in this game so it wasn't too bad!
By the way, I love the reference to Lunacid's Mausoleum area. I have a pretty big feeling that it's fully intentional considering how almost 1 to 1 it is!
Yooo I'm really glad this thing is finally out, I didn't expect it to ever actually be finished, I was just planning to replay the old demo but instead I got a whole little ~2-4 hour adventure!!
Took me like half an hour to finish and it was really fun! I hope you work on this a bit more, or turn it into your own original project! It's genuinely a good time!
